The Nolan family brought Pablo a bunch of caterpillars the day before he went into CHLA—Tuesday June 23. He loved them. Polly nurtured them and helped them reach their butterfly state—and today Jeff, Polly and I released them at Pablo's grave.Beautiful.

I had chills when I read that they had given Pablo the caterpillars. I don't believe in coincidences any more. This is all part of something so much bigger than us. Much love and light to you all today.

Yes, that is beautiful! I'm in tears again! Polly nurtured and cared for those caterpillars, as she cared for and nurtured Pablo. That is very, very sweet. Thank you again for sharing all of this with us.

I don't see a butterfly without thinking of your dear dear boy! Xoxo
i love this photo and think of you every day. xo
Every one of these acts is so loving and generous; you sharing them with us equally so. When I first met Pablo, he was around 5 months old... Jo Ann immediately sensed me salivating over his round, squirmy cuteness and practically thrust him into my arms. "You hold him," she said. So I did, and I continue to do so, even from afar. And I thank you guys so much for that generosity that you've provided for him from day one, and for keeping the Pablove wide open for the rest of us.
Lovely. Just lovely.
By the way, I saw the LIVESTRONG spot on MTV this morning. I sat up in bed yelling "It's Pablo & Jeff on TV!" Then, I let my dog out & saw a bright red cardinal sitting on the rail of my deck & thought, once again of Pablo.
Best light & love.

Beautiful gesture.
Last night my husband and I went with 2 other couples to a 'Music in the Park' event here in Austin. We also took one of our dogs and I was wearing my Pablove bracelet. A butterfly flew up and kept flying right in my face. Of course I thought of Pablo and started to laugh. Then, out of nowhere, the butterfly landed on my head and stayed for a few seconds, flew to my husbands head and stayed for a few seconds and then even landed on our dog's head. After that, it flew behind us and landed on a chair that we had brought and stayed there for a good 10 minutes or so. It never landed on anyone else.
I'm convinced it was Pablo's way of letting us know he was around. Even though we never met him (like many others), we love Pablo and think of him often. I think this was one of his playful ways of letting us know that he realizes we care. He'll never be forgotten.
This family, whom you've never met, is still thinking about you & your family. We plan to visit Pablo this week and we're bringing books to read, amongst them Lemony Snicket.
Always sending positive thoughts your way...
good night from toronto.

We went to San Jose's Japantown today to attend the Obon festival -- a time to remember those who have passed during the year. We remembered Pablo by making an offering at the Buddhist Temple.
