Pre-Chemo COOKIE Delivery From Billy And Shirley!

Imagine your fifth birthday is coming up in three weeks. Well, actually 18 days, but who's counting?

And imagine you can't really go to school everyday. And you have a port hard-wired into your chest. And you've got a hot date in a few hours with a cadre of doctors and chemo technicians.

Now imagine the doorbell rings. There's a delivery guy standing there with a pizza-like delivery box. Except it's not pizza. It's HOT, FRESH C.O.O.K.I.E.S., courtesy of Shirley and Billy!!!!!

PS: We appreciate every morsel of food and every gift and warm wish that everyone's sent. The cookies just got me going. Let's see, sugar, coffee, home delivery...

We're off to the CHLA Oncology Clinic in a few. See you later with more words and pictures.

XO from all of us.

The goods, with Mark Ryden's "Rosie's Tea Party" in the background. Somehow the insane sweetness of the cookies and the plain ol' insanity of our buddy Mark's painting just goes well together!
