Monday Morning: Pirate's Booty On Our Doorstep

We're having a great morning. Pablo looks and feels good. He's bouncing all over the place. Jo Ann hit her 7 a.m. yoga class, and then Dorrie came over to take her on a walk round the rez. Grady and I left late, and made it to school on time anyway. And we stopped at Starbucks on the way! It's G's last week of school - remember how cool that felt? - so we were not super concerned if we were late. He graduates Friday, and leaves for his two week class trip to Costa Rica on Sunday night. A huge deal. Jo Ann has outfitted the boys with new suits and matching creepers. Grady is chomping at the bit to wear his new gear.

OK, right now we're headed over to Rachel and Clint's for their baby boy Jonah's bris. Then Peter and I have a bunch of work to crack off for the rest of the aft.

The past four or five days have been non-stop good fun. Especially significant cos tomorrow is Pablo's chemo day. We go in after lunch. And we never know how he'll be feeling for the 24+ hours post-chemo. Let's keep our fingers crossed that this week will be a good one.

When we woke up this morning, we found a lucite chest of Pirate's Booty on the doorstep, courtesy of our dear friend Elizabeth (in the guise of Captain Jack Sparrow) Hunter. Here are the pix:

The treasure chest

The goods, wrapped in fine silk

A note from the Cap'n himself

...And the TREASURE!!!!

What the heck are creepers????? Could they be suspenders???? Glad to hear you had such a great weekend. Your family is so beautiful. I am envious of how close you all are. Maybe we'll get there soon.

by the way, and maybe I'm a little slow, but does lol mean lots of love?

Also, how does cap'n Jack look?

Pirates Rule!!!
Keep pirating all that booty Pablo, then take and bury it somewhere in the backyard and hide the map.
