All is great here in New Hampshire. Thunderstorms and water falling from the sky. I remember this from my years growing up in a city where a similar type of water fell from the sky, before I moved to the Los Angeles desert. In Milwaukee, we called it rain, and it was wonderful, as it was this morning.
I will take a break from relaxing today only to ride my bike around Lake Winnipesaukee. Then I will continue relaxing and having zero plans until doing same tomorrow and the next day and the next. Jo Ann is trying to talk me into jumping in the lake. No—not that kind of jumping in the lake. Like, actually going in the water with her. It's not every day that my wife asks me to do this, so I better join her.
Before I go....
If you were at Pablo's memorial at Descanso Gardens, you'll remember our friend Neal Morris from his rousing, heartfelt and hilarious speech about Pablo. He and his wife Anne and their three kids—Henry and Natalia were Pablo's New Orleans partners-in-crime—are en route to Boston where Neal will attend a post-graduate program at Harvard.
He sent us this Pablo-fied dispatch from the road....

So glad to hear that you are all relaxing and taking it one day, one moment at a time. The lake sounds deliciously restorative and peaceful. What a wonderful way to wind down and contemplate before you all return home.
Jo Ann's suggestion of "jumping in the lake" sounds fabulous, Jeff! She got the right idea. Have fun!
A special "hey" to Grady!
