Pablight All Over The World

A family friend of Pablo's friend Cynthia lit a candle in memory of P yesterday at the Duomo San Giovanni in Florence.

This image of LIGHT is a wonderful + powerful way to start today, the second day of our living with + looking for + witnessing Pablo's spiritual self. The second day since his spirit had to leave his physical body.

The vivid, powerful light coming off those candles reminds us of the energy + happiness + passion that Pablo exuded every day.

Pablo's best friend in the world, Harry Moffett, said it best when his parents told him of Pablo's passing:

"I am so sad Mommy. He has gone back to his star and I will see him there."

Yes, he has. And, yes, we all will....

Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.

Children are so wise; we have so much to learn from them. And Harry sounds like a very special kid.

When I told Helen about Pablo's passing, she was quiet and thoughtful for a moment, and then she pointed "up" and said that was where Pablo is now, and that God and her Grandparents were taking care of him.. I have not been able to write anything until now. Our family has been mourning all weekend with you. The unimaginable has happened and you are all handling the passing of Pablo with so much grace, strength and peace. It is an amazing thing to behold. I can't stop thinking about Pablo and that smile of his, of our great game of Hide and Seek in your house, and how he handled some of the toughest obstacles I have ever seen, thrown at him, and he threw right back. His strength...Helen and I lit a candle yesterday at our church in honor of Pablo, and I know that I could feel his light and his warmth all around us. It was an amazing thing to experience. Thank you for allowing us to be a part or your life, and sharing Pablo's most amazing life with all of us. We are here for you for whatever you may need. We love you. And we miss you Pablo.

"Faith is the strength
by which a shattered
world shall emerge
into light." (Helen Keller)

With all of our love, Penelope, Mike and Helen

Dear Jeff and Family:

I am so sorry to learn about your son Pablo's passing. Thank you for sharing your story on your blog (which Jeanney K. steered me to) and letting all all us readers know about his beautiful light.

You're all very much in my thoughts and my heart.

Yours,

in the infinite meadows of the heaven,
blossumed the lovely stars,

Sending you our continued prayers of peace and strength for the journey.
