Sleeping Beauty

I'm not a big fan of sleeping pics, but this one was too good to pass up. Pablo's new Mickey Mouse top hat, bow tie and suit and stream of drool - what could be better than this? If I had a better angle, you also see that he's holding a black rubber dagger and wearing the size 12 hand-me-down snow boots that Grady gave him.

My name is Carrie and I have been keeping up with your blog for a while now. My daughter, Emma, recently finished treatments for Wilm's, Stage IV, unfavorable histology. Emma finished in November, right about the time that everyone was discussing reducing the chemo. She had all of the treatments, but toward the end had to reduce the amount of some of the chemos because her counts took so long to recover. She is doing wonderfully now but her immune system is "trashed" as her doctor put it. The amount and duration of chemo attributed to this but they said it will improve. Everyday, I worry about a recurrence, about heart and lung problems emerging, about her health in general, but at least I know we did all we could do, all that was possible at this juncture. I thought sharing Emma's information may help your decision. Her website is www.caringbrige.org/visit/emmahall
I hope all is well for all of you today...I keep Pablo in my thoughts and prayers.
