  1. There is absolutely nothing that I can say that sounds nice or comforting, but I have to say that my family has been touched by your experience. We have a little boy just like your little Pablo, and this just makes us think even more how every precious moment we have with him is a blessing. Thank YOU for that. We are so, so sorry for your loss and can only hope that the pain subsides at some point to be bearable.

  7. im so sorry for your pain and heartbreak because sadly,i personally know what you are going through right now..and there is no other way to describe it except that is just plain...SUCKS.
I , too, went through many a nights, lying awake, with tears running down my face, just wondering exactly where my boy was...and if he was now okay. I guess we will know when its our time for us to know and until then, we can only hope and believe that they are now okay in Heaven. Thank you for sharing your son with all of us. I wish I was that brave to blog about these sort of things, but I can barely share the feelings with myself without breaking down..you are quite brave and i admire you for that. .Never fear, your son will never be forgotten.

  8. Father Dominic Peridans, of St. Louis Parish in Clarksville Maryland, asked for prayers and intentions for Pablo today at mass. Father Dominic officiated Jason Free's Texas wedding in March.

  9. A beautiful blue butterfly followed me around today for a few minutes, circling me. Pablo is everywhere.

Just wondering, you mention Polly and Pablo often on this blog, is she your daughter?

  11. Our hearts are filled with love, every day, for Pablo and your family. We notice the doves and each butterfly that flutters past. Thank you for that- thank you for sharing your story, it has touched us deeply. We check in every day to hear how you all are doing and to catch a glimpse of Pablo's contagious smile. Your story and your wonderful telling of it has made us feel like you are family, always.
